Queenstown Cat Rescue is independent Charitable Trust whose focus is to reduce the numbers of stray cats in the Central Otago area in New Zealand.

 Volunteers Wanted

Queenstown Cat Rescue is a non-profit organisation and we rely on people freely giving their time and energy to support us in ensuring the welfare of stray cats in the Queenstown area. If you are free to spend a few hours here and there helping us out, please contact us.

Volunteers needed to assist with

  • Trapping cats for neutering
  • Transporting cats to and from the vet
  • Feeding stray cat colonies
  • Fund-raising
  • Fostering cats and kittens to socialise them for re-homing

Whenever there is an event on in Queenstown we have a street appeal doing a bucket collection, where our volunteers arm themselves with a bucket, costume & face paint as seen in the above photo.
