Queenstown Cat Rescue is independent Charitable Trust whose focus is to reduce the numbers of stray cats in the Central Otago area in New Zealand.

Donations

Queenstown Cat Rescue relies on donations from generous people to fund its work. Donations are used to cover vet bills for desexing cats, medication for sick cats and for equipment such as trapping cages and large holding cages.

Donation Boxes: We have a group of fantastic local businesses that display our Donation Boxes on their counters.

Our Wish List

  • Cat food – wet cat & kitten food, preferably better quality brands such as Chef or Whiskas etc (fishy type ones especially, as this is excellent for baiting cage traps), also dry food (especially kitten food) such as Whiskas, Purina One or vet brands are very welcome.
  • Cat toys, collars (only ones with the breakaway safety release please), ID tags, scratching posts, cat trees and cat carriers (cardboard and sturdy plastic or wire ones)
  • Large collapsible cages
  • Cat traps
